OUR STORY
How We Got Started
our story began with a shared vision and a commitment to uplift those who are most vulnerable among us—orphans and women trapped in abusive relationships. Founded in 2017 by Nicholas Mark. We were inspired by the stories of resilience and strength we saw in our community. Our journey started with a simple yet profound belief: that everyone deserves a safe haven and the opportunity to thrive.
The early days, we offered basic support—food, clothing, and shelter—to women and children seeking refuge from violence and neglect. As we listened to their stories, we recognized the urgent need for a more comprehensive approach to support. This realization propelled us to expand our services to include emotional counseling, educational programs, and vocational training, allowing individuals to heal and regain their independence. \n\nOver the years, we have grown from a small, grassroots initiative into a dedicated organization with a network of passionate supporters and volunteers. Each milestone, from opening our first shelter to launching community outreach programs, has been fueled by the courage of the individuals we serve and the unwavering commitment of our community partners.
